About Us

BSS Unit is a company devoted to resilience, automation, strategic thinking, tactical execution, and sustainability. For people, for businesses, for supply chains, for governments.

Crisis prevention and management is the environment in which our philosophy was born, and in which our software development culture thrives.

Story

We have always fought the good fight

We now face a global landscape where Russia invading Ukraine is catalyzing a new level of global cyber warfare implications, with particular attention to U.S. targets, according to NATO and the U.N.

The spec-ops military experience of BSS Unit leadership is relevant. Our team understands what is necessary for resilience in automation, supply chains, M&A scenarios, logistics and transportation, worldwide maritime shipping. Manufacturing, energy sector, health care, food supply, medical devices, financial services and hardware devices, critical infrastructure. Our expertise, deceptive technology, machine learning, and human analysis focuses on ICS controlled OT systems, including the SCADA systems and overlaying interactive software that controls SCADA.

We are locked and loaded to see cyber-crimes in real time, what the likely future evolutions of attacks will be, and correlating commercial crime intel with political implications. We are also Red Team/Blue Team specialists, able to strategize, threat hunt, and assist law enforcement in counterattack.

Our experience started decades ago with special military and police personnel in Europe as well as war-torn countries, including Iraq and Afghanistan. We gained expertise protecting diplomats and embassies, critical buildings, facilities, and convoys in Europe and the Middle East. We also aided in the development of critical infrastructure (e.g. water, electricity), and the resilience systems.

We also specialize in crisis zones (e.g.: war zone disaster areas), mapping and analyzing the risk factors, short-, medium-, and long-term protection, physical and cyber security.

With a focus always on resilience, we have also built national humanitarian organizations and relief agencies.

Crisis zones prepared us not only for government and utility services, but gold-standard strategy and execution capability for corporate entities, including resilience not only of network infrastructure, security screening, DAST-level services, but also business and physical aspects: The service insurance, administration, control of transportation routes through the physical insurance, accounting for armed close protection, anti-riot vehicles.

Today the mechanical protection of assets, technical equipment and information systems must be absolutely reliable. These are a part of our core disciplines, and enables our suite of comprehensive products and services.

Spirit

Tactical

Tactics are only as good as the strategic thinking that frames them. To be strategic, you must have the ability to see accurate, encyclopedic data in real time, derive accurate intel, and then execute the tactics, step by step, for the future. To achieve a one-year target plan, you must know which tactics you will employ and deploy every day between now and then. This approach is our specialty, specifically born and trained by our crisis management experience.

Resilient

Armed with deceptive technology, worldwide patented and NATO endorsed authentication and encryption, and fully integrated automation that enables accurate data blockchain flow, we have all basis of resilience covered.

Sustainable

You’re only as reliable as your data. To be sustainable in supply chains, in human and cyber interaction, in protocols, there must be a way to access, control, authenticate and trace accurate data.

The linchpin is that these methods must form a bridge to meet people, businesses, and governments where they are now, with function and fit that people reach for instead of obviate.

Team

Part of strategic thinking is knowing that the people behind your products are most important. When we develop or acquire technology, the inventor stays with us, has stake, is empowered. We integrate our solutions, and our team is as collaborative as our products. Award-winning patented developers, Red Team/Blue Team leaders in Military exercises, inventors, and senior analysts — this is our team.
